Geekvape Cerberus Sub Ohm Tank
The Cerberus sub ohm tank has been around for a couple of years now but is still a worthy contender. It’s 25mm wide with a 2ml e-liquid capacity (EU version). There is a 4ml and a 5.5ml bubble glass version which I would opt for to negate the need for filling so frequently.
This tank is a top fill design with a difference. It’s not threaded but uses a quarter turn operation. Two notches on the underside of the top cap fit into two flat indents on the main body. When connected, the notches slot into a channel and lock into place once it’s turned. The large O-ring on the underside of the top cap provides an airtight seal.
Once the top cap is removed, there are two decent sized slots to allow for a large tip e-liquid bottle to be used. Filling can be carried out using either slot.
Airflow is achieved by a variable dual slot air flow control ring at the bottom of the tank. Again this is a quarter turn from fully open to fully closed.
Each tank is color matched to the color of the mod, with a black, low profile delrin 810 drip tip.
The word “Cerberus” is discreetly printed on the top cap of the tank.
The overall height of the tank, including the low profile 810 drip tip and excluding the 510 threaded connector is 35mm. One point worth mentioning, the 510 threaded connector does have a pretty decent protruding center pin (always handy for those hybrid mods).
Two coils are supplied with the Aegis X 200W kit but unfortunately both are the same type, the Mesh X1 KA1 0.2 ohm coil. Geekvape specify the wattage for this coil is between 30W–90W, but best at 60W-80W. Interestingly, the Vaporesso GT CCELL, GT mesh and the Smok Baby coils will also fit this tank.
